Born in Chicago, Illinois to Antonio and Anna (Giunta) Demma, passed at the age of 96 at his son’s home in Hemet, California. Graduated St. Jerome Grammar School and Sullivan High School in Chicago. Preceded in death by his 9 siblings. A Veteran of World War II. Honorably discharged from the Army in 1945. Survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, Barbara F. (Kimmel) Demma and their children, Connie (John) Fox, Joyce (John) Ciemny, Joseph (Rose), Anthony, Daniel, Theresa, and Pete. Grandfather of 10. Great-grandfather of 5. Lived and raised their children in Rogers Park, Illinois surrounded by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and In-Laws until moving to California where they resided for 20 years in Laguna Woods to be close to their oldest daughter and son-in-law. Patience was his motto. A “Lover, not a Fighter!” His family was his wealth. A kind, honorable man with a wonderful sense of humor who will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. May he rest in peace until united again in eternity with his family. His ashes will reside in Mount Carmel Cemetery in the Demma Family Plot at a date to be determined.
