This is mom’s 1 year anniversary! Mom was beloved by so many. She was loved by Jesus too as she was a Believer! Mom followed the Word without even knowing it-she was patient, kind, and gracious. She was also quick to listen and slow to anger! As a mother being human she made some mistakes but always apologized for them. She was a friend just as much as a mother. She was my best friend at times! Mom suffered from dementia and we all mourned living with her dementia. Mom had a great sense of humor. We would make each other laugh hysterically at times even in her early stages of dementia she still had her sense of humor. Another thing about mom was that she liked fast cars. Uncle Donny, was a motor head so she probably got that from him, but I would drive in my Mustang with her in the passenger side and ask her if she wanted to go fast. She would smile real big and say yes, so as we were flying by everyone on the road she would look back at them and say with total contentment, “Eat my Dust!”
